Four adopted brothers come to avenge their mother's death in what appears to be a random killing in a grocery store robbery. However, the boys' investigation of the death reveals more nefarious activities involving the one brother's business dealings with a notorious local hoodlum. Two cops who are trying to solve the case may also not be what they seem.
The movie is very interesting, and i would also like to say that its very realistic. You might say in one of the scenes that he takes out a gun in a basketball game that its unrealistic, BUT its one of the worst neighborhoods….hello? To them a gun is nothing. I think that its a awesome movie, and would recommend it to absolutely anyone. It shows that family, is not the color of your skin, related by blood or not, that your a family, and that the bond that you can have with someone thats not your actually brother or mother, doesn&#39;t matter. Its a very nice movie that i will recommend to anyone. <br/><br/>I recommend it highly to anyone.

About 4 adopted brothers who avenge their caring and kind mother&#39;s death, this film soon turns out to be more complicated than it actually is (due to a very sharp script and dialogue). The acting is top-notch from our cast, including Mark Wahlberg as one of the brothers, Bobby Mercer. Also of note, though her role was minimal, is the mother herself, Fionnula Flanagan as Evelyn Mercer (I first enjoyed her performance as Data&#39;s mother in the 1993 &quot;Star Trek: The Next Generation&quot; TV series episode &quot;Inheritance&quot;). The camera work is also top-notch here, showing the gritty reality of Detroit. All in all, a high 8 out of 10. Highly recommended.
